Mayor's Question Time

Today Livingstone answers questions from members of the London assembly. Most of the responses are in written form, provided outside the meeting. No doubt there will be some nuggets which will feature here in coming days.

Meanwhile, I am inviting suggestions for questions in advance of the October question session. Please leave ideas here and I will consider them for the future. Of course my own decision about what to ask is final....

Hi Roger,

How about asking him to justify the fourfold increase in Zone 1 cash paid tube fares over the last 2 years? Or even better ask him if he supports tourism in London and then ask him in that case why he has hit toiurists with this iniquitous tax?

Hi Roger,

Perhaps you could press him on the strange company he keeps. I'm curious to know from where his fascination with Chavez and Caracas comes. He claims it is from London's burgeoning latin american population, when actually he is obsessed with championing the rights of controversial underdogs. Chavez, Al-Quradawi, and Mao??! Stop fulfilling personal ideological commitments and get on with governing!
